It has been held for 10 years, as a memorial to the basketball player Rade Stanimirovic, who was killed in the previous war.
The tournament traditionally brings together teams from basketball clubs: Igokea Patrizan, Sloboda Uzice, Hemofarm Vrsac and the host Varda Visegrad.
In 2009, the special guest was the champion of Europe, the Greek Panatenaikos.
